This 250g pre-Qingming Longjing tea gift box uses tender first-flush buds hand-picked before Qingming Festival from the core production area of Hangzhou's West Lake region, representing a top-grade green tea. The gift box boasts a fresh and elegant design, making it a sophisticated choice for everyday enjoyment, as a gift, or as a business present.

Raw Material Grade: Longjing tea picked before Qingming Festival features the most tender buds and leaves, with lower levels of tea polyphenols and caffeine, resulting in less bitterness and a peak freshness and aroma concentration throughout the year.

Processing Characteristics: Utilizing traditional hand-frying techniques, it is refined through ten methods: shaking, layering, pressing, spreading, tossing, covering, straightening, grasping, pressing, and grinding. The buds and leaves are flat and straight, with a vibrant green and glossy appearance.

Packaging Advantages: The large 250g gift box can be divided into two cans or multiple individual bags for convenient use. The box also features a moisture-proof and light-proof design to better lock in the fresh flavor of the Longjing tea.

II. Product Details

Dry Tea Appearance: The tea leaves are flat, straight, uniform, and smooth, with a warm, yellowish-green color, resembling the color of brown rice. The aroma is elegant, with distinct chestnut and orchid notes, free of stale or off-flavors.

Tea Liquor Flavor: After brewing, the tea liquor is clear and bright, with a pale yellow-green hue. It has a fresh, sweet, and smooth taste with almost no bitterness. The finish has a distinct chestnut aroma and a lingering, refreshing aftertaste.

Flavor Characteristics: Pre-Qingming Longjing tea boasts the highest freshness among all green teas. Its inherent chestnut and orchid aromas are distinctly layered. The tea liquor melts in the mouth, making it suitable for tea lovers who prefer a lighter taste.

III. Brewing Guide

**Glass/Mug:** 2-3 grams (about a small pinch) in 80-85℃ warm water, 1-2 minutes, 2-3 times.
**Gaiwan (Lidded Bowl):** 3-4 grams in 80-85℃ warm water, 30 seconds - 1 minute (gradually increasing the time), 3-4 times.

**IV. **Precautions:**
**Absolutely avoid using freshly boiled water directly. High temperatures will scald the tender buds, causing the tea to turn yellow and taste bitter, while also destroying the chestnut aroma and freshness of Longjing tea. It is recommended to let the boiling water cool to 80-85℃ before brewing. If using freshly boiled water, pour it into a fairness cup to cool it down first, or add a small amount of cold water to the cup before brewing the tea.

**Storage:** Longjing tea is a non-fermented green tea and is extremely susceptible to oxidation and moisture. After opening, it is recommended to seal and refrigerate (0-5℃) to extend the shelf life to 6 months. Approximately one month. After opening, reseal immediately after each use to prevent the tea from absorbing refrigerator odors or becoming damp.

Brewing Details: It is recommended to use a glass or white porcelain gaiwan for brewing. A glass allows for better observation of the tea leaves unfurling in the water, while a white porcelain gaiwan better showcases the color of the tea. Do not use too much tea; pre-Qingming Longjing buds and leaves are delicate, and too much tea can easily make the tea too strong, masking its fresh and crisp flavor. The steeping time should also not be too long; after 3 minutes, the tea will gradually become astringent. For subsequent infusions, shorten the steeping time; the second infusion can be extended by 10-20 seconds to avoid making the tea too weak.

Drinking Suggestions: It is recommended to drink it plain, without adding sugar, milk, or other additives, to better appreciate the freshness and chestnut aroma of Longjing. Longjing is cooling in nature; tea drinkers with weak stomachs are advised to drink it after meals, avoiding drinking it on an empty stomach.

Longjing contains caffeine, so it is not advisable to drink it before bedtime to avoid affecting sleep. The brewed tea leaves can also be eaten; they are rich in dietary fiber and vitamins, but it is essential to ensure that the tea source is safe and free of pesticide residues.
